Training Program

AIMS OF THE CANADIAN CADET MOVEMENT

  1. To develop in youth the attributes of good leadership and citizenship; 
  2. To promote physical fitness; and,
  3. To instill an interest in the sea, land, and air activities of the Canadian Forces.

TYPES OF TRAINING

I - Mandatory Training: WEDNESDAYS

This training is completed during Tuesday night parades, and on certain weekend training exercises.  It includes a number of subjects that all cadets become familiarized with.  These include:

II - Optional Training: MONDAYS, TUESDAYS, FRIDAYS

This training is completely optional for cadets, and is conducted during separate training hours.  Although they are not compulsory activities, they still achieve the aims of the CCM.  These include:
